Larger libraries and more sites need a paid Flipable plan. On the free plan the reader shows a small \"Powered by Flipable\" mark inside the flipbook; paid plans remove it. The plugin itself adds no credits or links to your pages, and nothing in the plugin is locked.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Shortcode<\/h4>\n\n<pre><code>[flipable id=\"FLIPBOOK_ID\"]\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<p>Optional attributes: <code>height<\/code> (pixels, default 640), <code>width<\/code> (for example <code>800<\/code> or <code>80%<\/code>), <code>lang<\/code> (reader language: en, tr, de, fr, es, it, pt, el, az, nl, da, no).<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to the Flipable service (https:\/\/flipable.co) to convert and display your flipbooks. It does nothing until an administrator clicks \"Connect with Flipable\".<\/p>\n\n<p>What is sent and when:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>When you connect: your site address (and site title) are sent to flipable.co so the connection can be approved in your Flipable account.<\/li>\n<li>When you add a PDF: the PDF file you choose and its title are sent to flipable.co for conversion.<\/li>\n<li>While the admin page is open: requests with your site key to read your plan, your list of flipbooks and the conversion status.<\/li>\n<li>When visitors view a flipbook: their browser loads the flipbook from flipable.co inside an iframe. Flipable receives the usual request data (such as IP address and the page address) and measures views of your flipbook. The reader keeps a random, anonymous identifier in the visitor's browser storage to remember reading progress and bookmarks and to count visitors; no account or personal profile is created.<\/li>\n<li>When you disconnect or delete the plugin: a request that revokes the site key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Usage dates kept by Flipable: for each connected site Flipable stores only the date of these first events \u2014 first PDF uploaded, first flipbook converted, first embed address requested, first time a plan limit was reached, and first click on the \"See plans\" link (that link opens a Flipable page which records the click and then shows the plans). It does not use cookies and collects no information about your visitors. The admin area and the public site must use the same address.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20does%20it%20cost%3F\"><h3>What does it cost?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin is free. A free Flipable account includes one flipbook; more flipbooks, larger files and a flipbook without the \"Powered by Flipable\" mark need a paid Flipable plan. A flipbook is an iframe, so the reader loads from Flipable only where you place it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20disconnect%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>How do I disconnect my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Open \"Flipable\" in the admin menu and click \"Disconnect from Flipable\". The site key is revoked at once. Deleting the plugin does the same; if Flipable cannot be reached at that moment, remove the site in your Flipable account settings.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20flipbooks%20i%20already%20have%20in%20my%20flipable%20account%20show%20up%3F\"><h3>Do flipbooks I already have in my Flipable account show up?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes, they are listed. Flipbooks you add from WordPress are made available on this site automatically; for the others, click \"Use on this site\" first. That step allows your site address to show the flipbook and turns on its embed address in your Flipable account.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"who%20can%20add%20a%20flipbook%20to%20a%20post%3F\"><h3>Who can add a flipbook to a post?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Only administrators can connect the site, add PDFs and disconnect. Anyone who can edit other people's content (Editors and above) can pick any flipbook of the connected account in the block editor, and anyone who knows a flipbook ID can use the shortcode. Developers can change the capability needed for the block picker with the <code>flipable_flipbook_embed_capability<\/code> filter.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20is%20my%20pdf%20stored%3F\"><h3>Where is my PDF stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The original PDF stays in your Media Library.
